Are you familiar with Python and wish to offer refugees the opportunity to work as a Data Scientist?

Become a mentor and teach the basics of Python to refugees with a technical background and/or an expertise in another programming language! This training consists of 10 lessons prepared by our partner Accenture; each of them will be given by one of the volunteering mentors. At the end of this ten week program, the participants will apply their new knowledge by inventing, designing and implementing a tailored made final project.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to boost your coaching skills, connect with talented determined people and make a real social impact!

Timeline:

  • March 25th: closing of mentor recruitment
  • March 30th: presentation of the content of the training with Accenture
  • April 7th: Online kick-off session with introductory word from Thomas Mulder (VodafoneZiggo, Accenture, NewDutchConnection, Refugee Talent Hub)
  • Week 2: Lesson 2 + soft skills training for the mentors by NewDutchConnection
  • Monthly: check-in sessions
  • End of June: Closing event in Utrecht
