Tips & Tricks Online Masters
- Be yourself. The more you dare to share, the easier your Online Masters will be.
- Addressing students with an I-message has a positive effect and increases involvement. Speak from your own experience as much as possible.
- Ask the teacher in advance what a known 'silence sign' is in the group.
- As a guest teacher you have an inspiring role. The teacher is responsible for correcting undesirable behavior.
- Print worksheets: Almost every lesson also includes worksheets. You can download this as a PDF in the online teaching environment. Ask the teacher if they can print them out before class.
- In preparation for your lesson, we have developed a PDF manual in which we go through the Online Masters guest lesson step by step. In this manual you will learn more about what Online Masters is, why we started this initiative, and what you can expect during your guest lesson. You can also watch the guest lesson yourself at www.online-masters.nl/gastles . If you prefer to choose another module of Online Masters, you can prepare for this using the manual available at www.online-masters.nl for the relevant module.
